An alert was issued by police investigators on Long Island as they attempt to locate a man who has been wanted for more than two years for failing to pay thousands of dollars worth of child support.
The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating Andrew Alaggio, age 64, who is wanted on a Family Court warrant of arrest for failing to pay child support, authorities announced.
As of December 2019 - when the warrant was issued for Alaggio’s arrest - he owed approximately $5,000 in back child support, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Alaggio was described by investigators as being 6-foot, weighing approximately 200 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair. Authorities noted that he has ties to the Babylon, Lindenhurst, and Copiague areas.
